(These are rules are appropriate for Levels 52/54/58, but the principles apply to higher levels, too.)
1. Include a sentence with the title, author, and what the article is about.
2. Say the main ideas clearly.
3. Be objective. This means to just report the main ideas of the article. Don't add your own opinion. If you want to add your own opinion, you can write a short response at the end.
4. Don't copy. How can you avoid this? Read the article put the article away, try to remember the main ideas and write them down. If you can't remember all of the main ideas, read the article again.
